PDF sponsors events at the UN Seventh Session of the Permanent Forum on Indigenous Issues

The Peace Development Fund is proud to announce its sponsorship of two upcoming events at the UN Seventh Session of the Permanent Forum on Indigenous Issues.

 

April 24th - The Ingrid Washinawatok El-Issa O’Peqtaw-Metamon – Flying Eagle Women Award Ceremony celebrating the Seventh session of the UN Permanent Forum on Indigenous Issues. 

 

This event is sponsored by the Flying Eagle Woman Fund, Peace Development Fund, The American Indian Community House, UN Permanent Forum on Indigenous Issues, and The United Methodist Church (Office to the United Nations).

 

April 29th - Sovereignty, Indigenous Peoples and the Environment.  A side-panel of the UN Seventh Session of the Permanent Forum on Indigenous Issues.  Tuesday April 29 6:30 – 9 p.m. at 777 United Nations Plaza, 2nd Floor (44th Street & 1 Avenue).  This event is open to the public.
