April 24th - The Ingrid Washinawatok El-Issa O’Peqtaw-Metamon – Flying Eagle Women Award Ceremony celebrating the Seventh session of the UN Permanent Forum on Indigenous Issues. 

This event is sponsored by the Flying Eagle Woman Fund, Peace Development Fund, The American Indian Community House, UN Permanent Forum on Indigenous Issues, and The United Methodist Church (Office to the United Nations).

April 29th - Sovereignty, Indigenous Peoples and the Environment.  A side-panel of the UN Seventh Session of the Permanent Forum on Indigenous Issues.  Tuesday April 29 6:30 – 9 p.m. at 777 United Nations Plaza, 2^nd Floor (44^th Street & 1 Avenue).  This event is open to the public.
