Support PDF and our Grantees on #Giving Tuesday! Published on November 15, 2016

#GivingTuesday, a 24 hour online giving event for charities, is on November 29th. Help us raise $5,000 to support our grantmaking programs at

Donate to PEACE DEVELOPMENT FUND INC at Razoo

In 1981 the Peace Development Fund pledged to do all we can to give voice to the voiceless, and to stand with grassroots groups which need our help. That pledge stands today. Regardless of the politics that swirl around us, we will not stop advocating forcefully for justice for everyone, for action around climate change, and for a multi-cultural society.

We support grantees working on immigration, whose loved ones are facing deportation, like Youth Rise Texas, or whose families are exploited by wage theft like Domesticas Unidas in San Antonio, TX and Fuerza Laboral in Rhode Island. They organize so that every person, of every color or background, has equal access to safe communities, education, healthcare and a living wage. We support organizations working on climate justice, advocating for clean water and confronting the devastation of resource extraction, like Coal River Mountain Watch (West Virginia), 350Vermont or Communities United for Clean Water in New Mexico. They are the champions for our children and grandchildren, and the generations yet to come.

These grantees are who we are. You are who we are. By backing PDF, you champion our organizing partners. Together, we’ve given $33 million to thousands of community organizations, often at the time of their greatest need. We are early-in and sustaining funders for small organizations, strategically partnering with communities central to the critical movements of our era. At this wild moment in history, we all know there is more to do. You, as our champions in change, can help us do that. Let’s continue fighting for systemic change.

This #GivingTuesday, show your love for PDF!
