Welcome Allistair Mallillin, PDF’s NEW Executive Director!
We’re thrilled to announce that Allistair Mallillin will be joining us as our new Executive Director on November 1st, 2024!
“I’m honored to be joining PDF and its grant partners advancing social justice and human rights. I’m excited to work with everyone and help the organization reach new heights!”– Allistair Mallillin
Allistair is a seasoned leader with a deep commitment to social justice. He has a proven track record of community organizing, raising funds for social justice philanthropy, and building relationships.
Allistair previously served as Director of Strategy and Asset Building at Common Counsel Foundation, a national social justice public foundation. In this role, he directed philanthropic services for donors and foundations around social justice and participatory practices, while also scaling a community-led fund called Native Voice Rising (NVR), focused on Native organizing and advocacy within the US. Under his leadership, NVR grew 10-fold while deepening its commitment to community leadership at all levels of decision-making.
Prior roles included Justice Funders, Philanthropy Massachusetts, Interaction Institute for Social Change, and Asian American Resource Workshop, among other organizations. He currently serves as Board Chair for Asian Pacific Environmental Network in the Bay Area, as well as on the boards of Neighborhood Funders Group, Emerging Practitioners in Philanthropy, and Filipino Advocates for Justice.
We believe that Allistair is the right person to build on PDF’s strong foundation and propel us forward at this critical time. Together, we’ll continue to empower communities and fight for a better future.
Welcome aboard, Allistair!
