Leaving A Legacy

You can continue the legacy of fighting for peace and justice for future generations.

Organizing for social justice and change is an enduring effort. PDF was founded in 1981 by committed individuals like you who believed that present and future generations deserved a just world. Their hard work and the generosity of PDF donors helped to build us into a national organization that has helped build grassroots movements.

Yet our world continues to face new threats– and will for years to come. Making a legacy gift to PDF is a generous gift you can give to future generations.

When you make a legacy gift to support social justice organizing, you join PDF donors and friends who care about investing in future generations of peacemakers (and rabble rousers). Legacy gifts may take the form of a bequest, charitable gift annuity, designating PDF as a beneficiary of your life insurance or retirement accounts, or other planned gift.

We have partnered with FreeWill: a free online tool that guides you through the process of creating or updating your will, and making a gift to PDF in 20 minutes. This is an effective way to build a legacy bringing people together fund future generations of grassroots organizing for social justice.

Non-probate assets are assets not covered in your will or trust and can include an IRA, 401(k), or life-insurance policy. We have partnered with this free online tool that enables you to make PDF a beneficiary of these types of assets to fight for healthy communities for years to come. Get started today.

We are honored by the dedication of supporters who are helping to build a more peaceful and just world for generations to come.
