Grant Application Deadline Extended To 1/16 Published on January 4, 2023

The Community Organizing Grants Program is an umbrella for PDF’s annual grantmaking which consists of four grant programs: the Board Docket*Pioneer Valley Community Advised Fund*, Braiding New Worlds Fund and the De Colores Rapid Response Fund. Any organization that fits PDF’s guidelines is eligible to apply for a grant. PDF currently only funds organizations in the United States and territories, Haiti and Mexico through these grants.

Grants from PDF focus on funding grassroots community organizing led by people in the community in which they are organizing. We offer general operating support but don’t have a specific issue focus area. We have funded organizations working on human rights, economic and housing justice, women’s and LGBTQ rights, racial justice, climate change, Indigenous rights, criminal justice, and youth organizing. Please note that the Braiding New Worlds Fund is focused on funding youth-led organizations or youth organizing.
